About Us

Antoinette Ridout

About UsRidout Relocation founder, Antoinette Ridout, knows first-hand the importance of a successful transition when moving to a new city from both a professional and personal perspective.

In 2006, Antoinette and her family of six moved to Vancouver, BC to pursue the next step in her career as a financial industry executive. Establishing the “new life” the family envisioned was complicated and challenging with children at three different levels of education, numerous extra-curricular interests for parents and children, and a husband who wouldn’t be living in Vancouver for at least a year. Antoinette’s new company had provided funds for relocation but after searching for an appropriate service, none could be found. The idea for Ridout Relocation was born.

Antoinette has taken this personal experience and coupled it with her business acumen to create Ridout Relocation. Understanding the unique and equally important needs of her husband, her children, and herself during their personal transition has not been lost but rather forms her company’s guiding principles:

  • A customized approach
  • Individual attention to each member of the family
  • Unbiased recommendations

Jeannie Treagus

Jeannie Treagus joined Ridout Relocation in December 2012 as a Relocation
Specialist, assisting people from all over the world with their transition
to Vancouver.
Jeannie relocated from South Africa to British Columbia with her young
family, a career move for her husband, so she well understands the
challenges and adventures of relocating across the globe.
Jeannie is the founder of a bottled water brand which became a household
name in South Africa. With a background in business management, marketing,
production facility set up and management, she decided that a career such as
this was too much to juggle with three young children in a new country.
What else did she know how to do well – relocate! Jeannie draws on her own
experiences to help individuals and families transition successfully to a
new country.
